Getting to and around Malmö

Getting here is easy. Two international airports are just a short distance from the city, and the Öresund Bridge offers a seamless connection to Copenhagen and the rest of Europe. Once here, it's easy to get around Malmö's compact city centre – on foot, by bike or by excellent public transport.


Plane

Copenhagen International Airport offers excellent train connections rail connections, with the train station located directly at the airport. From the airport, it takes only about 12 minutes by direct train to Malmö Hyllie, the first stop in Sweden. Hyllie is home to the recommended hotels as well as the ECP venue, Malmömässan Conference Centre, which is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Hyllie Station. The journey from Copenhagen Airport to Malmö city centre takes approximately 18 minutes by train. 

Malmö Airport is just 20 (26) minutes from Malmö (Hyllie), with frequent daily flights to and from Stockholm and convenient connections to the rest of Sweden and the world. Airport coaches run to and from six different stops in Malmö, with a travel time of around 40 minutes.


By train

A number of different trains (SJ, Öresundstågen, Pågatågen, Snälltåget) serve Malmö Central Station.

With the regional carrier Skånetrafiken, Malmö is easily connected - within the region by Pågatågen and Öresundståg, and across the bridge to Copenhagen. Tickets can be purchased via the Skånetrafiken app or via the ticket vending machines at train stations. The Øresund Bridge
