Abstracts can only be submitted online, starting from 01 October 2026.

Online submission
To submit an abstract, you must first create an account. Once logged in, you can manage your submissions through your Dashboard or by selecting "My Submissions" from the dropdown menu accessible via your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page. Authors can also view the current status of their abstract submissions, including acceptance decisions, in this section.
Authors can select their preference of presentation mode: oral presenation or poster presentation. Authors who select oral presentation and are not selected for an oral presentation during the evaluation will be automatically evaluated a second time for a poster presentation. So authors do not need to submit one abstract for both preferences.
Authors may submit as many abstracts as they wish. There is no limit on the number of abstracts that can be submitted by an individual author.

Please note that during the submission process, you will be asked to provide a short summary of your abstract (50–200 words). If your abstract is accepted, this summary will be published in the conference programme and agenda.
Abstract number
Upon successful submission of your abstract, you will receive an abstract ID. This number is essential for administrative and organizational purposes. If you have any questions regarding your submission, please be sure to include your abstract ID in all correspondence.
Edit your abstract
Authors may start a submission and work on their submission data and abstract at any time. They can update their information and upload revised versions of their abstract until they finally submit it. Kindly note, the submission has to be completed until the abstract submission deadline is reached.
Once an abstract has been submitted and is under review, it can no longer be edited. This policy is intended to prevent substantial changes during and after the evaluation process. Therefore, please ensure that your abstract is ready for publication before submitting it.
Authors may only be permitted to edit their abstracts if revisions are requested by the reviewers. In such cases, changes can be made until 31 January 2026.
Abstracts
Submitted abstracts will be presented on the 06 or 07 April 2027, either orally or in poster form. Abstracts will be published on an digital abstract collection.
Acceptance of abstracts
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstract, the assigned presentation format (oral short talk or poster presentation), and the scheduled day of presentation by the end of December 2026.
Oral presentations
There will be 48 slots available for oral short talk presentations (speed talks). The time allocated for each oral contribution is strictly 10 minutes and will follow a 1–7–2 format, including discussion time:
- 1 minute for speaker change and preparation
- 7 minutes for the presentation
- 2 minutes for questions and answers (Q&A)
Presenters are kindly requested to adhere strictly to the allocated timing to ensure the smooth running of the scientific programme.
Posters
Posters will be displayed from 09:00 to 17:00 on a designated day during dedicated poster sessions.
Posters should have the following dimensions: DIN A0, portrait format (118.9 × 84.1 cm). Posters must not exceed these dimensions (maximum size: 120 cm in height × 90 cm in width).
We recommend printing posters on paper with a weight of approximately 125–170 g/m² or on lightweight woven fabric. This will ensure that the posters can be mounted easily and remain securely attached to the poster boards without sagging or falling due to excessive weight. Fixing materials (pins) will be provided by the organisers.
Approximately two weeks before the conference, you will receive your poster panel number and any relevant information regarding poster presentation arrangements.
