We kindly invite you to join the upcoming 6th European Conference on Pharmaceutics in Malmö, Sweden!   

Dear Colleague,

Following the great success of the previous European Conferences on Pharmaceutics held in Reims, Krakow, Bologna, Marseille and Porto, we are pleased to announce the next congress of this series of international meetings, which will take place in Malmö, Sweden, on 6 - 7 April 2027. The conference will be dedicated to advanced formulation and characterization to manufacturing better, accessible medicines.

The European Conferences on Pharmaceutics (ECP) are organized every two years (March/April of odd-numbered years) and are jointly arranged by APGI (International Society of Drug Delivery Sciences and Technology), APV (International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy) and SITELF (Italian Society of Pharmaceutical Technology and Legislation and Related Disciplines).

Typically, around 600 participants attend the conference. About one third represent industry, one third hold academic positions, and one third are young scientists, including PhD students and postdoctoral researchers – the next generation of experts in pharmaceutics. The primary goal of the conference is to bridge the gap between fundamental academic research and industrial applications, fostering fruitful dialogue and collaboration between academia and industry. The meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for young and established scientists from around the world to present their work, discuss the latest scientific developments, build professional networks, and exchange experiences with colleagues. Internationally recognized experts will deliver plenary lectures and invited talks on key topics in the field, providing insights into the current state of the art and perspectives for future developments.

In addition, recent research findings will be presented through short oral communications selected from submitted abstracts. Poster sessions will offer participants the opportunity to learn about the latest discoveries in pharmaceutics and engage directly with the authors.

An industrial exhibition will accompany the conference, showcasing the latest innovations and products in areas such as pharmaceutical ingredients, analytical technologies, equipment, medicinal products, medical devices, contract manufacturing, and related services.

Please note that coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and the welcome reception will be included in the registration fee. These will take place in the industrial exhibition and poster area to encourage interaction and discussion among participants, exhibitors, and presenters.
