Abstract submission opening delayed!

We sincerely regret that abstract submissions are currently unavailable. The abstract submission platform will be ready by the end of October, and submissions will be possible until 15 November 2024.

For detailed information and author guidelines, including the abstract template, please visit the "Abstract Submission" section in the menu on the right.

Instructions for Authors:

Online submission
Abstracts can only be submitted online, starting from 15 October 2024 by end of October. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience.
Please use only the prepared docx. documents for your submission of abstracts on Template for papers. (Download here)

Deadline for abstract submission:
15 November 2024.

Authors can select their preference of presentation mode: oral presentation or poster presentation. Authors who select oral presentation and are not selected for an oral presentation during the evaluation will be automatically evaluated a second time for a poster presentation. So, authors do not need to submit one abstract for both preferences.

Authors can submit as many abstracts as they would like to. There is no limited number of abstracts per person.

Abstract number/ticket

You receive at the end of a successful submission a abstract number. Please annotate this number. With the number you can update your abstract or details and you need the abstract number during your registration to the conference. If you have submitted more than one poster you have to endorse all abstract numbers during your registration. The registration of the numbers is necessary for the organisational process.

Edit your Abstract

Authors can edit their data and upload the latest version of their abstract until 30 November 2024.

Abstracts

Submitted abstracts will be presented from 24- 25 March 2025, either orally or in poster form. Abstracts will be published on a digital abstract collection and listed in the printed conference book with title and authors only.

Acceptance of abstracts

Authors will be notified of acceptance of their abstract and the type of presentation (oral or poster) by end of December 2024.

Authors also have the possibility to view the status of their abstract online.

Oral presentations

There will be 48 slots for oral presentations. The time limit for oral contributions will be exactly 10 minutes: 1 minute speaker change, 7 minutes talk, 2 minutes question and answer.

Posters

Posters will be presented during coffee break and lunch sessions on one specific day (Monday OR Tuesday). The panels for the poster presentations have the following size: height 120 cm, width 90 cm (DinA0 portrait). The posters must not exceed this size. We suggest to print the posters on paper with a weigh of about 125 to 170 g/m², so that they can be fixed easily without plunge to the ground because it is too heavy or made of (woven) fabric.
